It is true that a lamp is enough. But creating a new look and adding some features will make this good ol’ lantern even more helpful.

It is such an impressive innovation. Mobile phones are among the things most people cannot live without. If you have this camping gear, you will not be bothered too much by the thought of the mobile batteries being drained. You can even opt for the car batteries as a source of power for the lamp itself. Then, you’re on to an exciting camping spree.
Aside from that, one of the other innovations made was the lantern’s being a mosquito repellent as well. This may already be familiar to some people. Some technologies use UV lamp. There is another kind of this that just produces chemical reaction when the bulb is heated. It emits a certain odor that mosquitoes avoid. Campers definitely love this idea because having mosquito bites are among the not so happy moments of camping.
The lantern can also be a key holder. It has a hook where we can hang the keys or other tiny trinkets. Probably, this was created because of the need to be organized. When we are so in a hurry, we have the tendency to just throw these little things on the camping cot or on the floor. Then we forget where we put those and spend quite a while searching the whole place.

Imagine carrying that light around camping during the night. If the hologram is a person’s picture, it is as if you are carrying a miniature person all over the place. Well if it cannot supply that much light (probably because of the energy the hologram consumes), it can just serve as a dim light while sleeping. You will not be bothered by the darkness of the surroundings anymore. Instead of carrying picture frames with you, you have a lamp and picture frame rolled into one. It is just a thought.
The innovations regarding the camping lanterns were made possible because of our needs. Who knows? In the future, the camping lantern with a hologram may also be possible.
